Our Emergency Department is staffed with highly qualified Emergency Physicians as well as skilled nursing staff 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. The Emergency Department is ready to care for your family at any time of the day or night, for medical issues big or small. We have full service Lab, Respiratory and Radiology Departments that can assist our Physicians in treating you as quickly and efficiently as possible. Our wait times at Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital ER Department are some of the shortest in the region.

Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital is designated as a Level IV Trauma Facility by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

We have access to the most advanced technologies in Tele Stroke and Tele Cardiology Medicine, with patients being seen quickly by Specialists when presenting with Stroke or Cardiac symptoms. A Heliport is also available onsite for emergency transport service if needed.
